Before & After

The bathroom floor was finished this past week. It looks beautiful. We plan to do the whole foyer after the 1st of the year but this time we might leave the tiles down & use a grout saw instead of taking the whole floor apart. In all fairness the before photo has some tiles that were removed & just laid down there for picture purposed, if you look closer to the top of the photo you can see the old grout in tact.

The cabinet is getting a paint job in the next couple of weeks. Along with some new knobs & some TLC. Thanks to my wonderful husband who did the grouting, yucky job! I highly suggest this if you have old tile you would like to save & restore. If you have any questions about the products I used just e-mail me. I spent a total of $156.78 on this project & still have enough product left to do the rest in the new year!

Oh my gosh, it looks awesome. I'm all about restoring rather than replacing - we put a lot of work into restoring some beautiful plaster-work in our bathroom that had been covered over for ages. It's a lot of hard work, but it's so satisfying, isn't it?

Didn't you say you wanted to show me how to do this in person ;-) Unbelievable! Keana, I am so impressed! I can't wait to show this to my husband...
