Mom

I'm sorry I have been so busy & not here....my beloved mother finally passed on after her 2 and a half year battle with Ovarian Cancer. She passed on September 24th. She was so strong all through her illness & she will be missed by all the grand kids so much. This was the last picture that I took with her when Cole was just 10 days old.

We hand each grandchild put a hand print on the casket in paint. It turned out beautifully.....my sister and I took a photo of it before they took her to her final resting place.

On the knitting front I have been working on Haven and have about a half of skein left. I am giving it to my mother's hospice nurse Jessica who was so wonderful these past few months. As soon as I get it done I will take a photo.

Keana,

I am so very sorry for your loss. I really hope that you and yours will find comfort at this time of sorrow. Your Mom was a very beautiful woman. What a wonderful idea to have the kids add thier handprints! Take good care of yourself and yours.

Delurking to say how sorry I am. Bringing a new life in and losing such a special one in such a short amount of time has to be so hard. I lost my father in August, and I know how difficult it is. My prayers are with you and your family.
